I coach executives and founders through executive isolation. My clients run companies and make calls nobody else in the building can make with them. My work is helping them think clearly while they do it.

Coaching By Michelle is my practice. I'm ICF ACC credentialed, trained through Erickson Coaching International, coaching in English and Swahili, with 350+ hours delivered to clients on three continents.

Most of that work sits inside institutions. I coach public sector leaders through ALU's Public Sector Fellowship out of Kigali, and I sit with incoming engineering students at Cornell's Selander Center while they work out what they actually value. I've been an associate coach at BetterUp since 2023, coaching professionals globally.

Closer to home, I coached in a six-session programme with seven technical women leaders at KenGen built around Clarity4D assessments, and a shorter engagement with technical leaders at Hand in Hand Eastern Africa. Before those, I coached at Stanford through Erickson International.

Before coaching, I built and ran a private school. The Kenneth Academy ran seven years under me, from licensing to profitability, with a team of 20+.

I hold an MBA in Strategic Management and a BSc in Information Technology.

I also run The Brunch Network, a Kenyan community that started as a group for meeting and making friends and is now growing into community for founders and entrepreneurs.

Outside work: CrossFit five mornings a week, cooking, live music, and a standing interest in a well-made mocktail.
