Ms. James holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in television from Western Kentucky University and a Master of Science degree in media from New York University. In 2013, James completed the Cable Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School and is a 2014 alumna of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute.

Originally from Kenkucky, Michelle has lived in the New York metro area for 16 years and now considers herself a southern New Yorker. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Sorority, Inc. and volunteers her time across various organizations and nonprofits.
