The Beginning
At the grand age of 6, I was selling hand painted stones I had grabbed off the beach at Borth in Wales, a few years later I invested in some velvet ribbon and Velcro and made chokers to sell to my friends at school. I sold my very first photo of a rabbit for 50p when I was 12 and I was bitten by the photography bug. I would photograph everything from the dog to the sky, these photos were bloody awful and unfortunately due to a house fire, I no longer have them to cringe over.

Early Life
I went to school, then to college where I studied Fine Art, Graphic Design and (of course) Photography, and then got a job. It was a sucky job, I was working in a video shop, but it allowed me to earn and save enough money for my first SLR. I didn't know what I was doing with it, so I went to see Grandad and he taught me the ropes.

Light is Everything!
Fast forward a few years later and with Grandad's help and a lot of reading, researching and photography my photos stop sucking and start to make sense. I started to get a feel for the light, how it flows and it's different personalities.
Light is amazing. I love light, I love warm golden syrup evening light, sharp lemon-blue morning light, soft and silky cream light, hard and explosive light.
