I grew up in Portland, Oregon, before moving to Boulder, where I live with my husband, Greg, my three boys, Owen, Ozzie, and Orion, and our Bernese Mountain Dog, Harry. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.

In 2010, I began attending dance fitness courses led by Kendra Howard (founder of Planet Motion), and subsequently joined her Planet Motion Community Dance Troupe, performing at the Boulder Creek Fest in Spring 2011, and then, again, at the Boulder Theater in Kendra’s fourth show, Dances with Future Ancestors, in 2012. I continued training with Kendra, ultimately receiving certification as a Planet Motion Instructor.
