Michelle Ponto

Working as writer for over 15 years, Michelle Ponto has written everything from film scripts and articles, to newscasts and books. She currently works as digital manager for The List, but has written for numerous media companies including Discovery Channel, The New York Times, ABC and CBS local news, and Harlequin. She’s also worked as a journalist for years and is still a regular contributing writer for a number of trade publications.

In addition to having a BA in Communications and an honors BA in Fine Arts, Michelle has a diploma in Fitness Leadership and worked as a certified ACE and CAN-FIT personal trainer before turning to writing fulltime. She is currently working on her masters of science.

Recent books include: Buff Dad (2008) and Having Fun Without the Plus One (2013).
