Michelle Rebecca Khoo
Having been exposed to business at a very early age, Michelle chose a life of entrepreneurship for herself. She was drawn into this path by the freedom to create and share her creations with others.
She fortunate as to have found a company that appreciates and challenges her to constantly refine her design aesthetic as well as brand philosophies. After rashly launching her own visual communication practice fresh out of university, she secured her first client, despite having no formal training in graphic or web design. Twofold, was then a fledgling start up, with a lot a passion but little direction and no distinct brand positioning in a highly competitive, education market. Their objective was simply to obtain a new look for their site but having tasted creative direction for herself, Michelle found it impossible to just stick to designing websites for companies.
A new relationship was born. In Michelle, Twofold found its raw but passionate new creative director. And in Twofold, Michelle found the opportunity to use her creativity to improve the lives of others. In 2011, TWOFOLD formally inducted her into the company and there she proudly works today - planning, strategising and designing ad campaigns, social media campaigns, social responsibility campaigns as well as branding campaigns for Twofold and all its subsidiary businesses and projects.
She firmly believes that good design should be simple, should improve people's lives and be easily accessible, so needless to say she is an Apple fan though she uses a blackberry. She totally agrees with Leonardo Da Vinci that "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication".
