About Michelle Risi

Michelle Risi is a Canadian real estate executive, speaker, writer and singer-songwriter whose work explores the intersection of business, leadership, self-awareness and building a life that reflects who you are.

With more than 20 years in the real estate industry, Michelle is Executive Vice President at RE/MAX Your Community Realty, where she helps lead one of Canada's largest RE/MAX brokerages and supports more than 1,200 REALTORS® across the Greater Toronto Area.

Her approach to leadership has always been rooted in people. She is interested in how people think, what they're naturally good at, what gets in their way and why the same definition of success—or the same strategy for achieving it—doesn't work for everyone.

That perspective shapes much of Michelle's writing and speaking. She explores ideas around business, leadership, self-awareness, identity, success and the importance of building a career that works with who you are rather than constantly trying to become who you think you're supposed to be.

She lives that philosophy herself. Alongside her career in real estate, Michelle writes and records music as a singer-songwriter, releasing both original songs and interpretations of music that resonates with her.
