I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults and elderly. I work individually, with families, couples or in groups with clients struggling with wide-ranging concerns including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-injury, parenting issues, relationships, trauma and many more. I practice from a Strength based, Positive Psychology, Dialectical, Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused and Client Centered Perspective.
I believe that all people have the right to be heard and feel empowered and important. I believe that all people are special and have the strength to overcome significant obstacles. I am exceptional at building therapeutic relationships that can help empower clients to be successful.
Before beginning private practice, I worked for non-profit agencies where I worked with individuals struggling with addictions, mood disorders, compulsive disorders, relational disorders, self-esteem, empowerment skill building and homelessness. I have worked extensively with children and families involved in foster care and DCFS care.
