Michelle Spear

Executive Producer Michelle Spear came up through the creative department at BBDO – managing creative teams and building agency culture. Not surprisingly, that got her nominated for the Founder’s Award. The first spot she produced there made it to Cannes. So when a new interactive shop in San Francisco, EVB, came calling, she dove in. She then became Director of Creative Services there. Then Executive Producer. Along the way she helped grow the place from 5 people to 60, joining the management team while they were cranking out gems like “Elf Yourself.” She oversaw some of the industry’s most talked about interactive work for clients like Adidas and Levi’s. The Cannes International Advertising festival called again and she joined them as part of a panel assembled to enlighten the industry on “Digital Video Content and the Future of Marketing.” Michelle's southern warmth and Charleston accent adds the little touch of sugar needed to keep the wildcats in line. Most importantly, its her "in the trenches” understanding of the digital space that makes her an invaluable partner.
