Hi, I'm Michelle!
Coming into the University of Florida, I dreamed of working in telecommunications for the sports industry as a sideline reporter. But then I found myself chasing the fast paced environment of magazine publishing at the tail of my freshman year. Two years of classes and working in public relations and social media management positions on campus flew by, and before I knew it, I was interning at the Tampa Bay Times and Marie Claire magazine in New York City. And suddenly I found myself considering opportunities in media that I never thought I would.
My bachelor’s degree in journalism and my hard-earned graduate certificate in social media management has given me the tools to be a leader in this ever-changing media industry. With strong interests and experience in social media, photography, multimedia journalism, digital marketing and advertising, along with event management and promotions, I know I’ll find myself dreaming of the next best thing in my line of work– and stepping up to the plate for the challenge.
