A captivating motivational speaker, Michell has been inspiring audiences for over 20 years. She started her career in direct sales straight out of university and opened her own sales and marketing company at the age of 21.
Her passion is to help others PLAY A BIGGER GAME.
While building her sales force she conducted well over 50,000 job interviews and was amazed by the things she discovered in this process... Most people she interviewed DID NOT know what they wanted to do with their lives, and over 90% of all graduates said they did not want to work in the field in which they studied.
She began asking what the ultimate goal would be for each candidate 5 years in the future and most often got answered with the same standard replies - sometimes a position or title, sometimes a financial target was referenced BUT ALMOST 100% of all candidates included in their reply - "I just want to be happy".
The studying began. A constant researcher, Michell studied everything she could find about Mindset, Attitude, Happiness, People Skills, Psychology, Motivation, High Performance, Belief Systems, Leadership, Management Practices, Success Habits, Sales Secrets, Goal Achievement, Team Work, Confidence, Influence, Coaching and How People Learn.
Applying and teaching the practices that she studied - she built and ran the largest direct sales force across Canada for over a decade. After hitting all of her business goals, she closed her sales and marketing company in 2012.
She decided to dedicate her life to teaching the practices that had changed so many lives already.
Her first book was published in May of 2012 - The Six Questions, which hit #1 on Amazon the month of its release. Her second book Lead the Field in Direct Sales was released in May 2014. Her next book More Than a Leader will be in stores by summer 2016.
She is an Internationally renowned Motivational Speaker, and teaches audiences how to find confidence, gain clarity, discover what they truly want, ignite passion back into their lives and Lead with Purpose and Conviction.
