Michaela Ferry

Michaela Ferry is a senior undergraduate student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is majoring in Hospitality and Tourism Management in the Isenberg School of Management. She is a hard working student with a driven attitude. Michaela has a long-time goal of becoming a successful event designer/planner in the future and would like to get into the business after graduating college in May 2014.

Since high school, Michaela has always known what she wanted to work in the events industry. Over the summer, while working as an intern with a florist and event designer, she discovered her passion to specifically design events. This experience lead Michaela to realize that she could use her creative skills to design extravagant events in the future. For three years now, Michaela has worked at a local bank, Scituate Federal Savings Bank, and from this has strong customer service skills and learned the importance of responsibility within and outside the workplace specifically with customer privacy.

In her spare time, Michaela loves to relax at the beach and catch up with family and friends. After college, she would like to travel and is open to job experiences that would take her to different places around the country or the world.
