It contains 13 short stories that chronicle a lifetime of sexual freedom for a bisexual anarchist punk-rockin’ feminist. They are set around the western US, where women have traditionally enjoyed a greater degree of gender equality than in eastern urban areas. Many of them are set in Portland, Houston, Austin and New Orleans.

They are sex-positive stories about normal sexual exploration, free of stigma. I write from a traditional point of view, but which seems radical in today's world of sexual oppression.

Feminism shouldn't be seen as radical. Freedom of choice isn't radical and neither is equality. Feminists aren't man-haters and sexually active women aren't sluts.

These stories depict the honest sexuality that is normal, not reactionary. They are not acts of rebellion against fathers or husbands or the patriarchy. They are expressions of independence, in which women who are empowered to make their own decisions, choose their own sexual partners, and have control over their own bodies, without shame.

This is what sexual freedom reads like!
