My idyllic childhood became the stable foundation for an adulthood wrought with challenges. At 36, I was diagnosed with a previously undiscovered neurological birth defect. My medical challenges have given me cause to go to the depths of my soul seeking the truth about my happiness. I still struggle with living my truth on the daily. However, I am blessed because I have seen my own brutal truth and I know who I am at the very core of my being. I hope that my life will stand as a testament that the power of self love can conquer overwhelming odds.
