I worked at The New York Times and in public radio, and I launched the Kickstarter-funded journalism project Curbing Cars. I'm the author of five books, including The End of Detroit: How The Big Three Lost Their Grip On The American Car Market. I'm also a baseball fan (go Tigers) and a food writer.
