I’m Michael, I’m 39 and I’m a stay at home Dad but don’t let that fool you I still do quite a lot outside of that. I have 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl.

Quinn is the oldest. He lives with his Mum in Leicestershire so you can imagine I don’t see him as much as I’d like and his Mum isn’t very….receptive. We text each other loads but it’s hard work.

Kayden is next, then Layla is and finally Zachary. We live in Kent together with my wife Shereen.

ME

I am currently doing a City & Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery Level 1 at Lambeth College. I’ve always wanted to be a Carpenter but never did anything with it, I made excuses that I was too busy to get it done and perhaps I was or perhaps I just made excuses, whatever, now I’m doing it and loving it and, might I say, doing quite well with it.

I am also a Governor of my sons Primary school, Royal Park. I am the Vice Chair and Chair of Finance & Premises, both keep me very busy. Various visits and reports for the GB plus the many meetings but I’ve loved every minute of being a Governor and wouldn’t change it. I’ve just started my second term.

I also do TAEKWONDO, so far I’ve been training a year so I’m only an 8th KUP and I did take 6 months off but now I’m back with a company call Il-Shim Taekwondo, they are affiliated with British Taekwondo. I’ve know and trained with the teacher for a year and I am happy to join her as a student once again, I can’t wait to get back into it.
