Midge Guerrera

Midge Guerrera has had a multi-faceted career that includes professional experiences as a writer, actress (host of the Emmy winning series “Around and About NJ”), director, public speaker, arts administrator, and educator. While maintaining an active career in theatre, she has been responsible for the design and development of an arts center, university arts administration minor and major, two performing arts high schools and a professional children’s theatre company.

Currently, Midge is regaling Italian American Groups with her entertaining and enlightening presentation - Il Dolce Fa Niente - The Sweetness of Doing Nothing.

Her consulting projects, through The Guerrera Huber Group, have included producing major performance events drafting planning documents, creating curricular materials for arts in education programs, and writing grants. Clients have included New Jersey State Council on the Arts, NJPAC, Newark Symphony Hall, Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company, Asbury Park Board of Education, Monmouth County Arts Council, Passage Theatre, Two River Theatre, Newark Museum, Jersey City Museum, American Hungarian Heritage Center and Rutgers University.
