Midwife Gina

I am a Certified Professional Midwife (registered in Colorado) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I began my path to midwifery 12 years ago during the homebirth of my second son, which was an incredibly transformative experience for me. I first became a breastfeeding peer counselor, then began a midwifery apprenticeship after many years of study. I was fortunate enough to spend some time at the Yayasan Bumi Sehat birth clinic, in Bali, in the Fall of 2009. During my midwifery studies I became a certified doula with DONA and a certified childbirth educator with ALACE. I sat for the IBLCE exam in July of 2008 and the NARM exam in February of 2010.

I serve a variety of families from many different backgrounds. All, though, are united in wanting to start their new babies' lives in peace and on their own terms. Homebirth is a wonderful choice for families who want to take ownership over their birth experience. Peace on earth begins with birth.
