Hello!! My name is Pauline and I am a first year student at the Wilson School of Design at KPU.
Some of my hobbies and activities I like to do on my free time are gaming with friends, volleyball at open gym every Friday, and baking. One thing I do want to start doing in my free time is scrapbooking my memories with friends and family.
I am really interested in anime. I love the diversity of how beautiful the art style of anime can be as it's very different than any other animated cartoon series. My favourite artist for anime would definitely be Makoto Shinkai who is a director, manga artist, and writer known for the movies, “Your Name” and “The Garden of Words”. They are romance movies with the most breathtaking art I've ever seen in anime. Another anime I really enjoy watching is “Demon Slayer” which is mainly action involving amazing animation. The art and animation are both what makes this anime one of my favourites.
I am also extremely interested in Kpop. Apart from the good music I listen to everyday, the performances of various groups are what really grabs my attention. The stunning outfits, beautiful makeup, and breathtaking choreography on stage with flashing lights and confetti has always been the reason Kpop is one of my top interests.
One of my motivations that helps me get through whatever I need to get done is my boyfriend. When he does his best everyday in school, work, and staying healthy, it also makes me want to do the same. He also always encourages me to try new things and helps me through it. Besides him, my biggest motivation are my parents. They work hard everyday to support our family and I always want to thank them by making them proud with finishing school with a degree.
My goal in life is to be happy. I want to be financially stable (especially in this economy) with a loving family including two cats. Yes, life is hard but I believe the key to having a happy life is to not stress too hard and just live life to the fullest. Unfortunate things happen but I like to say, “it is what it is” and move on.
Thank you if you've read this far. This has been me, Pauline, and I hope you have a good day! :3
