The Birth of Robert’s Ministry

In August 2003, Robert experienced a tragedy of Biblical proportions when his precious wife and all four children died in a flash flood in Kansas late one Saturday night. After 8 years as a father, nearly 12 years as a husband, and 13 years as an electrical engineer, Robert’s life completely changed on their way home from a wedding in Wichita when a six-foot wall of water inundated their van, sweeping them off the highway in the darkness and into the deluge.

Soon after, Robert resigned from his engineering career and answered the call to minister and share God’s amazing grace and faith that brought him through that horrific ordeal. Now he teaches others to KNOW GOD and Live a Life of No Regrets with his words and original music at the piano.

Although Robert’s testimony cost him everything, he charges nothing. No agents. No fees. Pure God. He goes where he’s invited. To date, he has freely shared his compelling testimony at least 1,040 times to over 250,000 people personally.

Robert’s challenge to Live a Life of No Regrets resonates with men, women, and children of all ages. His compelling message has impacted lives, transformed congregations, and inspired people to draw closer to God.

This worldwide ecumenical ministry brings Robert’s testimony to congregations of all denominations and to secular organizations. He shares at churches, schools, retreats, parish missions, orphanages, prisons, legislative events, conferences, and corporations.

Robert develops the content and length of his inspiring story to each unique gathering. His multimedia presentation integrates scripture and music that penetrate the soul and demonstrate God’s grace.

About the Ministry

Mighty in the Land Ministry is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to Teaching Others to KNOW GOD and Live a Life of No Regrets: no regrets with God and no regrets with one another. Our vision is to turn the hearts of people to God, and the hearts of parents and children to one another – worldwide.

The Ministry name is inspired by Psalm 112:2 of God’s Holy Word, “His children will be mighty in the land.” The entire Psalm 112 is a Sacred Scripture passage that I memorized and prayed countless times over our children. It seemed fitting to name this Ministry – which God began – from our family’s familiar Psalm, and as a challenge for each of us to make our lives count for eternity…to live a life that is truly Mighty in this Land.
