Migraine Trail is a voice-first migraine tracking app designed specifically for people to log their symptoms without having to look at a bright screen during an attack. It was founded by Amrita Sukumar, who serves as the company's sole founder.

Based on the mission and features of the project, here are the core details:

The Mission

The app was created out of a personal need to simplify the logging process. The goal is to turn the frustration of manual migraine journals into a seamless, hands-free experience, helping users identify patterns and triggers faster so they can reclaim their "dark room" days.

Key Features

AI Voice Logging: You can log attacks, pain levels (1–10), and medications using natural voice commands. This is designed to be used during active attacks when light sensitivity (photophobia) makes looking at a phone screen difficult.

Weather Intelligence: The app includes a 14-day barometric pressure forecast (using GFS and ECMWF models). Since pressure shifts are a common trigger, this helps you stay ahead of environmental risks.

Doctor-Ready Reporting: It generates structured PDF reports of your migraine history, symptoms, and medication efficacy that you can hand directly to a neurologist.

Visual Comfort: For times when you do use the screen, the app features high-contrast, oversized buttons and 10 eye-soothing themes, including a true "Dark Mode."

Pattern Recognition: Over time, the AI links lifestyle factors like sleep, stress, and diet to recurring episodes to help you find your specific triggers.

Technical & Privacy Details

Platform: Built natively for iOS using Swift.

Privacy: Health data is kept secure and synced, with a "privacy-first" approach.

Localization: The app currently supports 14 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.

Migration: It supports data imports from other apps like Migraine Buddy so new users don't lose their history.
