Miguel Aliaga is a finance professional who has gained international recognition for his 30 years worth of experience working as an online broker in the financial services industry. Miguel’s deep understanding of currency trading and derivatives has aided him in proving himself as a successful global investor and highly capable trader.
As the son of a Chilean diplomat, Miguel Aliaga spent much of his youth traveling the globe and being introduced to new cultures. His family spent time living in Latin America, East Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, constantly exposing Miguel to different ways of life. Throughout his youth, Miguel learned several different languages and still speaks French, Spanish, and English. Miguel graduated from the Nido de Aguilas International School with his Bachillerato Internacional and the University of South Florida with his MBA.
Miguel Aliaga first entered the financial sector in 1987. In the thirty years since he’s entered financial services, he has learned a lot about what it means and what it takes to succeed. Miguel defines his approach to investment by using patience and discipline to guide his actions. He understands the importance of staying up-to-date on current events and trends within the industry, but does so without letting the emotions of short-term concerns overshadow his long-term strategies.
Miguel currently serves as the CEO for Continental Financial Group where he is in charge of overseeing the numerous companies owned and managed by Continental FG which include Continental Asset Management S.p.A., an asset management company; Trading Academy Ltda., an educational institution that educates people about trading financial instruments; Continental FX S.p.A, a multinational capital markets broker; and Radio Financiera S.p.A., a real-time online subscription radio station for financial news.
Through Trading Academy Ltda., Miguel has the opportunity to educate curious minds about the ins and outs of finance and financial trading, and it is this portion of his job that he enjoys most of
