Born on May 21st, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, Miguel Angel Pérez has coursed his M.Sc. in Computer Science at University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. He also coursed part of his studies at Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences, in Berlin, Germany.
He has a solid background in Databases Architecture and Data Modelling; Analysis, Design and Development methodologies in what relates to Software Engineering; Systems and Computer Architecture; and Neural Computation. He has great experience in Oracle Databases and Web environments, having worked as technical leader at SIEMENS Healthcare.
Miguel Angel was a SIEMENS employee in Spain between 2005 and 2012, at the Health Services Department, Healthcare Division. Before becoming a SIEMENS employee, he was internshipped twice at the same division, SIEMENS Medical Solutions, on 2004 and 2005. Nowadays, he works as Regional Director at GFI Informatique (France) for the Canary Islands.
