Most recently, Miguel Triay served as Director of the Product Management Team for Distressed and Direct Lending with Citi Capital Advisors. His responsibilities included direct management of the firm's Distressed Debt Opportunities Fund, which previously operated under the name Epic Asset Management, with a specific goal of identifying ways to attract external investors. As Director, Mr. Triay researched and reported on areas of deficiencies in the portfolio that required action on the part of senior management.
He previously served as Director of Marketing and Business Development for Scottwood Capital Management in Greenwich, Connecticut. During his time with Scottwood, Miguel Triay directed company outreach to institutional investors, family offices, and pension funds on a global basis, managed investor communications and reporting, investor meetings, and third-party service providers, among other responsibilities.
A graduate of Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, Miguel Triay earned a B.S. in Finance and International Business. He went on to complete his M.B.A. at the school's F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business with a concentration in International Finance and Investment. He also participated in credit-risk-management courses offered by the Citibank School of Banking.
Outside of work, Miguel Triay supports a number of charitable organizations, including the Walkabout Foundation, The Tiny Miracles Foundation, the March of Dimes, and Autism Speaks. A world traveler, Mr. Triay enjoys touring Australia, South America, Asia, and Europe.
