I am Mika Laaksonen, a fresh graduate from Aalto University, Helsinki, Finland. I'm a pretty curious and open minded person. To me, life is an endless exploration of the world and a continuous learning experience. I love to travel, exploring cultures, meet new people and learn new languages. Being in nature and doing all kinds of sports makes me relax and feel good. Reading and learning new stuff inspires me and makes my imagination fly. Lately I have been very excited about self quantification, biohacking and personal health optimization in general. I am also enthusiastic about economics, finance and business, following news on international economics and politics. I have an own investment portfolio, allocating funds mainly into developing markets and emerging technologies - things I believe in.

Professionally, my work is an extension of who I am. I have specialized in the intersection of business, technology and developing countries, since those are all things I am passionate about.

I love to challenge myself and throw myself into new experiences and places, trying to become a better person along the way. In my opinion it is possible to truly develop as a person only outside of one's own comfort zone.
