Mikalina Kirkpatrick
Mikalina Kirkpatrick is a co-founder and the Operations Manager of Little Bird, a social graph discovery and data platform currently in private beta. Previously, she has been a close informal advisor to several of the world's leading web technology media companies, most recently ReadWriteWeb, assisting with management, hiring, sponsor relations and the creation of internal communication systems.
Mikalina has performed interviews with telecommunications executives and engineers in South America, done research on some of the biggest technology stories to emerge out of the last three SXSW conferences in Austin and now manages creation of the product, platform and business being built at Plexus.
Educated in life sciences, math and ceramic arts, her prior professional experience is in management of organic food and book retail businesses. She's also edited book manuscripts regarding alien abduction and written for a small town newspaper. She likes to spend time making ceramic art and exploring the social web.
She is married to technology journalist Marshall Kirkpatrick and lives in Portland, Oregon.
