Mike Jennings

Before beginning a career that would eventually culminate in serving as managing director at the Boston office of a global financial services firm, Mike Jennings of Wellesley, MA, studied economics at Middlebury College. On his way to graduating with a bachelor of arts from the Vermont institution, Wellesley, MA’s Mike Jennings competed as a member of the school’s ski and lacrosse teams.

Now retired, he has more recently involved himself in the sport of lacrosse through the Wellesley Youth Lacrosse Club, which he guided as president. Dedicated to youth sports in general, he has also served on task forces aimed at improving athletic facilities in his hometown. In recognition of his work, he has twice appeared on the Wellesley Townsman’s annual list of community leaders. Combining his athletic and service-minded interests, he has also participated in the New England Parkinson’s Ride and the Pan-Mass Challenge. Through these cycling events, he has helped to raise money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
