Mike Creamer
Personal Training and Group Exercise Instructor in Bray, Ireland
Hi I'm Mike Creamer. My Irish friends call me Mick. Fitness is and has always been my overriding passion. Regular exercise is the single most important thing you can do for your physical and mental well-being. As a fitness professional I believe it is important to lead by example and I practice what I preach and what I teach.
I was introduced to sports at an early age. As a school boy I played soccer and rugby and boxed. I started lifting weights in my teens and before turning twenty one I had won national junior bodybuilding and powerlifting titles and represented Ireland at the Junior World Powerlifting Championships. Prior to moving to the U.S. in 1985 I was employed as a fitness instructor for City Gyms in Dublin.
In the U.S. I continued to compete in Powerlifting and I played rugby for the New York Athletic Club. In 1988 I was hired as a personal trainer by Plus One Fitness, Manhattan's premier personal training gym with an A-list celebrity clientele. In 1997 I opened my own personal training gym in Soho, where I operated a successful business for 20 years. I recently moved back to Ireland.
For the past ten years indoor rowing has been my primary exercise and my sport. I am a member of the Bray Rowing Club and also an avid cyclist. I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a Level 1 Crossfit coach. I am eager to put my knowledge, skills and considerable business experience to service in the growing Irish fitness market. I am available for personal training and fitness consultation and to teach group exercise classes.
