"I'm the son of a computer nerd and a handyman/carpenter/mason/Jack of All Trades."
When I was a kid, My mom was a Systems Analyst for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio so she always got the privilege of fresh tech. One weekend, she received clearance to take home an Apple Macintosh Performa 6100 desktop and let me loose on it. I drew Nintendo characters with the single-click mouse and a WYSIWYG drawing application and got my first taste of graphic design in digital form and Apple products which I remain loyal to to this day.
I also figured out that in 1995 the internet was far more boring than I expected it to be. I was expecting what we see as the web today, maybe even more - think virtual reality - a never ending hallway (the browser) of doors to different rooms (websites)...
While I found it boring back then, I love working within the triple dub (www) now - designing, creating, and implementing well thought out user experiences. Today, I've finally found my calling in life.
I'm also very fond of my lovely lady, adorable dogs, family, and great group of friends. I'm currently located on the north side of Chicago near beautiful Lake Michigan.
I'm currently available for employment in Chicago and can work remotely from home, if needed.
