Be careful what you wish for... it just may come true. So this is where I guess I have to same something about myself. Well, I am Canadian… and if you listen closely you can pick out my Canadian accent. Yeah, yeah… Canada is exactly like what they portray in the movie Strange Brew and we worship the movie Slap Shot (and if you haven’t seen either movie you are missing out). After getting my Masters in Engineering, I moved to the United States. I lived in Wisconsin for a few years before the 2000 recession claimed my job. I then got a job in upstate New York for four years before they promoted me and transferred me to Dayton, Ohio. In 2011 I got transferred to Cincinnati where I now work directly for GE Aviation. Ok, so basically if you haven’t figured it out I am not your typical engineer. I almost made a career out of art instead of engineering. In the end I figured I can make a hobby out of art, but not a hobby out of engineering (and let’s face it... engineering probably pays better). I still do art, but not as much as I would like to - well at least not yet. I still have the artistic side of me that occasionally shows up.
