Mike Mazurkiewicz
Architectural Designer and Graduate Student in Toronto, ON, Canada
I began my architectural career after cooking in some of Toronto’s most innovative kitchens - an experience which reinforces my understanding of the human appetite for quality and a global dependence on ecological systems.
While at Sustainable, I have led and contributed to high-performance projects ranging in scale from an adaptation of a boutique Niagara winery to Toronto’s Egale Centre. In 2018 I presented work at the OAA Annual Conference.
I am presently completing a Master of Architecture at Ryerson University with an interest in critical sustainability, rethinking material systems, and the poetics of reutilization.
