Mike Peterson

Michael (Mike) Peterson is the Senior Vice President of Information Technology for The Brock Group. Mike architected and managed the implementation of an IT infrastructure (people, processes, and systems) that has supported Brock's 7x organic and M&A growth over the past twelve years.

Mike has the requisite strategic vision, broad business process background, and deep technical knowledge to leverage a rapidly changing environment rather than being buffeted by said changes. He understands that technology is not simply an end unto itself. And that properly designed and implemented, technology is a powerful tool to undergird business processes. Mike has a long-history of pragmatic solutions, bespoke and off-the-shelf, that have successfully addressed a wide variety of business process challenges.

Mike brings over twenty years of information technology and application development experience to The Brock Group. Before joining Brock, Mike managed the IT Enterprise Architecture and the IT System Integrations departments at Entergy in New Orleans. And prior to that, he headed the IT Departments at E&J Gallo Wineries and Gallo Glass Company in California. Mike attended California State University, Stanislaus as a Computer Science major.

When not working, Mike's interests include traveling to other countries and reading science fiction. He says traveling is practical way to immerse yourself in new ways of thinking and behaving. And that, science fiction stimulates the mind into thinking beyond our current confines -- to imagine the "what if".
