Michael Powell

Over 27 years of municipal government expereince in Law Enforcement. Have actively participated in the following: police officer, detective, SWAT Team member, firearms instructor, holding ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant, and over 15 years as police chief. I have experience in budget projections, revenues/expenditures, policy and procedure writing, grant writing and execution of grants, and documenting for audit trails. Have been active in State management organizations, and have taught classes at the college level in criminal justice and corrections. I earned my BS in Criminal Justice Administration, and an MAPA, with a concentration in Government and Policy. I also have 10 years experience as a City Emergency Manger, trained in NIMS. I also hold an Amatuer Radio "Extra" class license.

I am a recent Graduate of West Coast Phlebotomy, Inc in Oregon City, OR, starting a new career in the healthcare field as a Phlebotomist.
