I love Cornwall and spend as much time as possible there. It was in Cornwall where I first had the idea for Sam and The Sea Witch. Lamorna Cove has the house built into the slate hillside, overlooking the cove, just like the one in my story. When I first saw it, it looked grey and unwelcoming and the row of cottages is also there.
