A Native of Illinois, specifically the Chicago area, attended the Institute of Design and studied under such revered photographers as Aaron Siskind, Harry Calahan and Art Segal. Graduated with a BS degree with a major in Photography and a minor in Visual Design in 1962.
Started work career as a Picture Editor for HMH Publications (Playboy), as a picture editor.
After a year at Playboy, began a move to do magazine work. It was during the Civil Rights Movement, and was quickly assigned to cover some of the major leaders of the movement in the South..
After a particularly difficult night of threats and more, upon return home, announced to my wife that advertising would be a good direction for me.
Opened a studio on the Near North Side of Chicago, one block North of the river and one block east of Chicago's Merchandise Mart. After several years at that location, I moved the studio North to the Oldest Standing Firehouse in the city, and after a couple of years there even moved my family to the same building and lived there for about 3 years..
After the Firehouse experience, moved to Sycamore, IL to the oldest standing School House in the city.
From there moved to DeKalb to a condo, then to Gulfport, Fl a few years later..
Started a Mobile Marketing business called MW Mobile Media and now sell mobile technology, including that for businesses.
