As Chief Strategist, Mr. Sorrentino supports the development and implementation of investment strategies for clients of Global Financial Private Capital. He works closely with the CIO to determine the target allocations to various investment vehicles and sectors given the direction of the global economy and market activity.
Mr. Sorrentino is well regarded for his extensive background on Wall Street and is a regular guest on CNBC, Fox Business News, and Bloomberg. In addition to TV appearances, he is frequently quoted in leading financial publications including the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Barron's. Mr. Sorrentino came to Global from Barclays Capital, where he was a Vice President working on a wide range of investment strategies. Prior to Barclays, he spent years as a Vice President at Sanford C. Bernstein, which is regarded as one of the most respected institutional equity research firms in the world.
Mr. Sorrentino received his MBA from the University of Chicago and dual degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and carries his Series 7, 65, and 63 licenses.
