I'm Mike Fellon — founder of ScopesReviews.com and the guy behind every review on it. I'm based in Dallas, Texas, and I've spent 15+ years behind rifle scopes as a precision shooter and hunter across Texas, Montana, and Wyoming.

Before building ScopesReviews in 2017, I spent five years in the firearms department at Bass Pro Shops, putting optics in customers' hands every day. I'm an NRA-certified Range Safety Officer and Certified Firearms Instructor, and I've personally mounted and tested 200+ scopes — from budget red dots to long-range glass.

ScopesReviews exists for one reason: honest, hands-on optics reviews with no paid placements. If I say a scope tracks true or fogs up at dusk, it's because I ran it myself.
