Mike Gubosh

Continuous Improvement and QA Manager in Berkeley, California

Hi, I'm Mike Gubosh! A hands-on, customer-focused, continuous improvement and quality assurance professional seeking my next big challenge.

As a child growing up in Georgia, I spent a lot of my time outdoors and using my hands. I enjoyed building tree houses, woodworking and building model planes with the help of my Dad and Grandpa. At the time, these experiences seemed nothing more than a well-spent afternoon. However, my youthful entertainment allowed me to gain an early appreciation for, what I now know as, systems and an unrelenting attention to detail.

Fast forward a decade or so later, I graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Upon completion, I successfully secured a position in an operationally-focused leadership development program where I gained exposure within a variety of industrial verticals.

In work and (all of) my life hobbies, I enjoy the process of learning, building, and mastering a skill set that can be used to solve simple and complex problems, as well as, drive shifts in the status quo of organizations. No setback is deemed a failure and no roadblock is too large, but are only viewed as opportunities to continue learning and improve myself, the institution in which I operate and others around me.
