Mike Moffo is a Vice President of SS+K, a NY-based advertising and marketing firm, where he provides branding and communications strategy for non-profit organizations and political causes. He specializes in harnessing grassroots and social media strategy to ignite causes and brands. Mike currently advises organizations such as Livestrong, the World Health Organization, the US Department of Education, the Democratic National Committee and the Obama White House. He currently develops creative programming for companies such as General Motors, General Electric, and Creative Artists Agency. SS+K has been responsible for world-class brands and communications strategy for Delta Airlines, Audi, the Bill Gates Foundation, MSNBC, and the ONE Campaign, Mike is also the Executive Director and a member of the Board of The Hall Steps Foundation, a lifestyle non-profit founded by Olympic Marathoner Ryan Hall and professional runner Sara Hall. Previous to his tenure at SS+K, Mike worked as a political organizer and strategist on presidential, gubernatorial, senatorial, congressional and local campaigns in South Carolina, Louisiana, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Iowa, Delaware, Washington, DC, Arizona, New Mexico, Washington State, New York, Ohio, and Chicago. He was one of the first members of Barack Obama’s Presidential Campaign in February of 2007 and John Kerry’s Presidential Campaign in May of 2002. Among other assignments, he was a Field Organizer for Kerry’s victorious Iowa Caucus campaign in 2003-2004 and Barack Obama’s Deputy National Field Director for Special Projects.
