I am a teacher, artist and a maker of things.

What I do best: I immerse myself in the world of children. I combine story, hand crafts, design principles, science, electronics, and digital media to offer new ways to value creativity in kids.

Process:

1. Combine some necessary materials like cardboard, Scratch, MaKey MaKey, wire/conductive tape, wood, sometimes Arduino, Lego robotics, lots of arts and craft stuff, motors, found treasures, batteries (of course).

2. Add some necessary ideas, like those from: PBL, Ken Robinson, Seymour Papert, STEAM, design thinking, Tinkering Studio.

3. Then: Be kind. Offer encouragement, ways to get started. Stir, and leave the rest to the bottomless well of creative invention in kids.
