Mike Spolar

Mike Spolar is the owner of Lackey & Company, through which he provides tax and assurance services to clients across Ohio. With the firm, Mike Spolar also offers business consulting and other financial services, such as payroll and quarterly write-ups.

As head of the organization, he oversees its daily operations, including billing and collections. Since establishing the firm, he has also become adept at building and maintaining relationships with new clients.

In the role, he draws on decades of financial experience. A former manager at Ernst & Young, Mr. Spolar spent five years specializing in tax-related services. Working with corporate and individual clients, he was responsible for developing tax planning strategies and preparing tax returns.

Mike Spolar is also a former adviser with IMG. Having served in the role for two years, he focused on professional athletes and corporate executive services. These spanned contract negotiations, bookkeeping, retirement planning, and tax return preparation.

Outside of finance, he enjoys keeping active by cycling, golfing, and boating. He also has experience as a basketball and lacrosse coach.
