I am a husband, soon-to-be father, and photographer. Photography became a passion of mine at the end of my time earning my degree in music. I bought my first DSLR and took a black & white film photography class at a local junior collage and I was hooked. I love capturing people in honest moments - truly capturing the person for who they are, who they aspire to be, and getting a glimpse into their lives.
I am a hybrid shooter - for almost all my shoots I use a combination of digital and film cameras. I love to shoot film. Film forces me to slow down a bit and be more purposeful with each detail. There are so many reasons I shoot film as often as I can - if you'd like to know more, send me an email!
Beyond photography, my heart is very much into non-profit work. I've had the privilege, along with my wife (Janna Thezier), to work with a non-profit in India and Nepal for a few years coming along side locals in their efforts to better the lives of the people in their communities. I find so much joy in using photography and design to further such causes.
