Currently a PhD student at Loughborough University in England studying in the Mechanical Engineering Department on a project with Burton Snowboards. I spent five years at MIT earning my BS (‘08) and M.Eng (‘09) in Materials Science and Engineering. While there, I was able to combine my passion for sports and engineering by working with the MIT Sports Innovation Center. I am co-creator of the Sports Technology Podcast and frequent contributor to the Sports Technology Review. I was a captain of the MIT baseball team and continue to stay active by playing baseball, snowboarding, and distance running. This is a picture of me after completing my fourth marathon in Edinburgh in May 2011.
