Michael Zhang is an Associate at Innovation Works. Michael started his investor career a year ago, but by the time he had long been watching the technology industry closely while he was working for Global Entrepreneur magazine, one of the top business magazines in China. In the seven years he worked as a reporter and later the assistant executive editor, he has interviewed no less than 500 entrepreneurs, executives and investors like Warren Buffett, Li Kashing, Lou Gerstner, Jamie Dimon, John Doerr, to name a few. This experience helped him build extensive connections and trust with Chinese technology start-ups and entrepreneurs. Michael loves to initiate the great ideas that he feels necessary or valuable to his work and enthusiastically drives to make them happen. He started up Apple4.us in late 2007, a collective blog on the advancement in the technology industry, actively built a crew of excellent bloggers and made it one of the best technology news blog in China. He also initated Da Code, a design brand targets geeks in China, which was sold to a top B2C company in China in 2010. Michael graduated from Central University of Finance and Economics with a Bachelor degree of Economics.
