For more than two decades, Mikhail Golomb has been working as a business executive and senior management professional.
Currently, Mr. Golomb serves as founder and CEO of FanVestor, an innovative data-driven investing platform, which enables consumers, both accredited and non-accredited, to invest into the careers and projects of talent, musicians and athletes.
Possessing a background in public accounting, he is a certified public accountant and holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and MS in management from Stanford Graduate School of Business. His early career was spent working for such entities as PricewaterhouseCoopers and he later took on such roles as corporate controller for Entegrity Solutions Corporation, CFO for JSC Sistema Hals and chief business officer and co-founder for Mayak Real Estate (a joint venture between Morgan Stanley and MCP) in Europe. Mikhail Golomb now leverages his extensive experience in scaling companies to assist Breathometer as CFO, EVP, and board observer. Besides, working at Breathometer, Mikhail is also a mentor for Stanford GSB Ignite as well as a resident mentor at 500 Startups.
As CFO, Mr. Golomb oversaw all financial and accounting matters at the business at Breathometer. He handled fundraising, investor relations, external audits, and business development. When he joined the company in early 2015, it was a pre-revenue start-up but with a lot of potential. He hired several key executives through his personal network, including president and COO, and played an integral role in the negotiation of numerous partnership and distribution opportunities with companies around the world and completed over $20m Series A fundraising. Mikhail Golomb was also responsible for negotiating an FTC settlement for the discontinued legacy products.
