Milan Djordjevich

A business owner based in Springfield, Missouri, Milan Djordjevich has served as president of MD Plastics, Inc. since 1999. Originally, the company focused on washing and grinding 55-gallon drums for resale, helping keep thousands of pounds of disposable plastics out of landfills. Over the next 20 years, Milan Djordjevich helped the company expand into brokering the sale of recycled plastics and generic prime virgin resins, including nylon, HDPE, PC, and HIPS.
A graduate of East Carolina University (ECU) in Greenville, North Carolina, Mr. Djordjevich holds a bachelor of science in chemistry. He completed a teaching fellowship at Loyola University, where he later spent six years as an assistant basketball coach under head coach George Ireland. During this time, he became known as a top recruiter and watched several of his players go on to compete in the NBA.
More recently, Mr. Djordjevich drew on his basketball coaching background to operate the Midwest Storm Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball program, leading the team to success in tournaments such as the Adidas Top 64 Tournament.
