Miles Mendoza
Digital Producer in London, United Kingdom
I live in London and work for BBC Music On Demand, specialising in planning and delivering our coverage of big events (Glastonbury, Proms, Reading & Leeds Festival, Radio 1's Big Weekend etc) on iPlayer, BBC Sounds etc.
For most of the 00’s I did a daily feature about websites on Steve Wright's Radio 2 show. I also wrote a spin-off book, which is now massively out of date, but still generally available on Amazon for 0.01p (plus postage). I was proud to have written the book which was, apparently, enjoyed by those who read it (not all of whom were close personal friends or family). I also learned that I don’t especially enjoy word-counts and big deadlines, so I don’t expect to be writing another book any time soon.
I am a proud Dad and husband, love pop music in most of its forms, watch an awful lot of telly and love cheese, Cointreau, laboured puns, real-life labradors and fictional antropomorhic dogs (especially Snoopy, Dougal from The Magic Roundabout and Douglas from a terrific but underrated cartoon called Microscopic Milton).
