Miles Zachary is a Ph.D. Candidate in Management at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas concentrating on strategic management and entrepreneurship. Before joining the PhD program at TTU, Miles earned a Masters of Science in finance and economics from West Texas A&M University, concentration on pricing theory and interest rate determinants. Additionally, he holds a bachelor degrees in both economics and finance from the same institution.

His research interests broadly center on strategic management and macro-entrepreneurship, specifically areas related to competitive dynamics and firm capabilities, time and temporality, hypercompetition and the temporary nature of competitive advantages, corporate entrepreneurship, and innovation. He is published in Family Business Review, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Business Horizons, Journal of International Business and Cultural Studies, and Journal of Academy of Business and Economics. Additionally, he is an active participant and reviewer for the Southern Management Association (SMA) and the Academy of Management (AoM) and serves as an ad hoc reviewer forFamily Business Review and International Small Business Journal.
