Milivoje Nikolic Botswana believes in creating long-lasting friendships with my lower level managers as this connects them directly to the company’s vision and aligns their goals to mine. Thus leading to greater project success. From the interviewing process, he creates an environment of friendliness and affection with every individual incoming as he asks them about what they deeply care about. He goes on to educate himself within that area. For example, for employees with children; he sets aside 1 hour per week to sit down and talk to them about their childrens’ interests. He further probes them every once in a while to find out more. He also invests in creating strong relationships with them by taking every individual out for lunch twice a quarter. He does this to probe them about their performance and for those underperforming set milestones for them with additional monetary incentive to push themselves further.
