Mindy Knapp

Hi, I’m Mindy Knapp! I live in Urbandale, Iowa, a place I’ve grown to love deeply over the past decade. My background is in Communications, which led me into a career in marketing and event planning. I thrive on creating engaging events and marketing campaigns that really bring our community together and highlight what’s special about our local businesses and nonprofits.

Apart from my professional work, I have a strong passion for arts and crafts. I really enjoy making handmade jewelry and scrapbooks, and I often share these at local craft fairs. I also teach crafting workshops at our community centers, which is a wonderful way to connect with others who share my interests.

Volunteering is another important part of my life. I co-founded a local initiative that provides school supplies to underprivileged children here in Urbandale. It’s one of the projects I’m most proud of because it directly helps kids get the tools they need to succeed in school.

When I’m not working or volunteering, I love spending time outdoors, especially when I can bring along my rescue dog, Bailey. We explore the trails and parks around Iowa, which is always refreshing and invigorating. Gardening is another hobby of mine; there's something really rewarding about growing your own food and flowers.

I’m driven by a desire to make a positive impact in my community and hope to continue finding ways to connect and create meaningful experiences for everyone around me. Thanks for getting to know a little about me!
